MedSafe UK - Managing Waste

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality, honesty and ethics of service, Medsafe are proud to announce their support for the charity Macmillan cancer support. As you may know, one in three of us will get cancer at sometime in our lives. If the worst did happen we believe that having the right support from a fully trained caring professional like a Macmillan nurse is essential not only for the patient but also for the family as a whole. This support ranges from medical help in the home with advice on medication, to giving advice on how to claim the financial help that is so often needed when coping with the extra costs cancer can bring.

The wife of a member of staff has recently had experience of the kind of help and support Macmillan can bring, “it was the most traumatic time in the life of our family, and knowing that someone was there, and on hand at the drop of a hat, made things easier to cope with”.

Macmillan funds nurses and other specialist health care professionals, and builds cancer care centres around the UK. A large proportion of this is funded solely by donations which is why Medsafe UK have decided to donate a percentage of its profit on a quarterly basis to the charity. This means that indirectly with the business you give to Medsafe UK you will also be donating to Macmillan Cancer Support.
